Unlike open platforms, we carefully select the authors and titles included in Bright Haven. This helps maintain quality, improve discoverability, give each author meaningful visibility, and avoid overcrowding.

Bright Haven is focused on high-quality, clean romance across a wide range of subgenres, including contemporary, historical, romantic suspense, small-town, faith-based, and other reader-loved categories.

We are looking for authors who write engaging, well-crafted romance, maintain clean content, have a growing or established readership, and are excited to participate in promoting their work and engaging with readers.

Yes. Bright Haven is specifically built as a destination for clean romance readers. Books are expected to align with reader expectations for clean content, including little to no explicit sexual content and thoughtful handling of language, violence, and other mature themes.

There are no fees to participate in Bright Haven. Promotion is handled by our team at no cost to authors, and authors cannot pay for preferential placement or promotion.

Bright Haven operates on a shared-revenue model. We distribute a percentage of subscription revenue to authors on a monthly basis.

By limiting the number of titles on the platform, we can create better discoverability for readers and stronger earning potential for authors.

Bright Haven accepts romance novels and novellas in both eBook and audiobook formats. We are non-exclusive, so authors can continue distributing their books through other retailers.

If you have both eBooks and audiobooks, we’re happy to include both. If you only have one format, that can work too.
