The Pirate’s Bride
The Pirate’s Bride
A pirate prince, a fake princess, and a marriage that could destroy them both.
Princess Cali has five days to save her dying kingdom. The cure lies across a forbidden boundary in a land of pirates and magic. But the only way to access it is to marry a pirate prince and pretend to be someone she's not.
Bae Kelsey never wanted a wife. He wanted a kingdom and the magic to break his curse. But the woman forced into his arms isn't the obedient princess he expected. She's sharp-tongued, secretive, and dangerously captivating. Every stolen moment pulls him deeper. Every lie she tells binds them tighter.
When her deception is exposed and his father's betrayal ignites a war, Cali must choose: her people or her heart. But Bae won't let her go without a fight. Can a marriage built on lies become the one truth worth dying for?

This is book one of the Cursed Tides series. It’s an enemies-to-lovers, marriage of convenience, pirate fantasy romance. Hints of fairy tales woven throughout the story line. Great book! It pulled me in from beginning to end and held my attention. The world building is detailed and imaginative. This book has strong, well-developed characters, an interesting story line full of suspense, danger, action, mystery, unexpected twists, and an ending that left me wanting to read the next book in the series. I am voluntarily posting an honest review after reading an Advance Reader Copy of this story.
Im thinking this could have easily been one book if certain fillers were taken out. Besides that, I did very much love the story and where it was headed. Its a romance but also has great fantasy and plot elements. I knew Captain Kelsey is a horrible person with horrible plans but I didnt expect that betrayal. Sort of on both sides of this fight. Soraya while I hated her at first sort of grew on me. The true star, the one I kept reading for, was Cali. After everything she sacrificed, all she thought about was Bae. There is an awful misunderstanding, which I despise in book, but it worked for this one. At least for a little bit. That ending was devastating for Cali but a hope at least maybe for Soraya's kingdom and maybe for Cali's
