An amazing book to enjoy!

I am a huge fan of books written by Lisa Phillips so I could hardly wait to get this one. It is the 3rd book in the series and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The characters are complex and well developed and ... even though it is the 3rd in the series, this book can be read alone and since I have read the previous books, it was nice to revisit characters I still like to know more about. Always finding their faith in times of trouble but learning that God is faithful - Biblical truths are expressed but never delivered in a "preachy" way. Once again, flawed people are finding a faithful God and ... finding one another - with LOTS of adventure along the way. I highly recommend this book but don't read it if you have to put it down for any reason! I couldn't stay away!

Mystery and excitement!

This book is really non-stop mystery with lots of excitement and a developing clean romance woven in. The characters are wonderful and their struggles are realistically portrayed. This is a very enjoyable book! I will read the rest of this series.

Coming Home

Ellie is made to reveal some town secret, requested by her now dead grandfather the town police chief, when all she wants to do is get back home to her safe teaching job. However, Ellie and Dean will have their work cut out for them in building their faith and trust in each other to solve this secret and Ellie’s trust in G_D.

Beyond the past

What a great book, as the first two were! This is a story of letting go of the past and stop running or hiding from it. It’s a story of coming home to family and facing the dangers. I love this series’ books that are full of “edge if your seat” suspense and clean romance. It kept me on my toes not seeing the next twist coming! I’m looking forward to the next book in this series!
