I really wanted to like it

I saw it in a reel, and I went and checked it out right away. I wanted to like it. The writing is good, I can somewhat identify with the characters.. but I can’t identify with the storyline. There’s too much going on.Spoiler below--Eight years no contact, out of the blue chance encounter, the bachelor show, trying to move on, but being able to but feeling to guilty to get back in touch.. trying to set up to catch the final contestant in the act of cheating, but her figuring out. It’s not plausible, and it could have been SO GOOD.

I think dating show trope might be my new favourite. This was a joy to read and I sat down to start and couldn’t put it down. The best friends sister and the fake dating and all. The kick your feet up joy.

I ha e just finished reading Assisting my brothers best friend by Judy Corry.I have given it 5 stars because it was a very good story.All the characters were likable and the story just flowed from the very beginning. Thank You.

Great book!

Having met Kate for the first time after seven years, Drew did not want to let her go again. So he found a way to rekindle their friendship…Though I expected a certain ending (there is a reason I’m reading this romance book ☺), when the time came for the conclusion, the author implemented an unforeseen twist, making me question if the couple would finally get on track. Drew’s commitment and loyalty is remarkable, even when it comes at a high prize: losing the one person he actually loves. I doubt I would be so selfless in the expression of my love, which makes me even more thankful that this is fiction. Although I like being challenged by the stories I read, sometimes it’s just easier to step back, enjoy the ride, and be thankful that my life is not as complicated as the characters’.Have fun reading this entertaining story about Drew and Kate.

I love how childhood crush finds back into each other lives after cutting off contacts for so long but still found pure love that they can't find in anyone else.
