Wonderful

Another great book in the accountant’s office series! Special Agent Stella Davis is on a mission to find those responsible for the brutal killing of her partner and injuring her. Police officer Eric Hummet would like to help his community as well as help to improve the reputation of the police department in the community. When an inter-agency task force is created to bring to justice the people who are responsible for stolen guns they both are quick to volunteer. Then bombs start exploding. Will these two along with the task force be able to stop those responsible before too many people are killed?

Disappointed

This book focused too much time on the romance between Eric and Stella. Eric acted like a teenager who couldn't overcome his past and it occupied too much of his headspace. It caused the crime part to be sidelined. The plot jumped all over the place at at times was confusing. Did not finish. The musings of Eric and his issues just finally got to me.

What a twist

This one was a bit intense with Eric, a cop who managed to get away from a life of crime that his family has created and Stella the FBI agent whose father just got out of prison. Definitely kept me turning the pages. A great read

A Suspenseful Story

This story is certainly suspenseful. Eric and Stella both have family members that are criminals. Stella’s father serves prison time but it seems to have changed him for the good. Eric’s family is a different story. It is sorrowful how sin can corrupt and deaden hearts that are filled with so much evil and violence. Sin has consequences and in the case of Eric’s family the consequences were deadly. Looking forward to the next book.
