Non-stop Action

Action, deceit, kidnapping, high ranking terrorists, good guys/bad guys, and never ending action. As soon as one issue seemed to be handled, more interconnected events happened putting the team and Nora in danger. Why? What is the end game? Who is behind the danger and how are they always a step ahead of the team? Buckle up for a wild ride!

Good

Unrealistic, Nora ran a charity organization for six years, and had no idea where money was actually going, was there no board members. To finding an empty building when she did finally check. Her dad was a business man what was his involvement. He contacts Zander and his team to destroy the building. Nora seemed to be the socialite type woman not realizing what was going on in the real world or her father’s. Characters of Zander and his team I enjoyed. Nora was so so. Plot overall was good. Beginning of new series and she has written many series I have enjoyed.

Outstanding!

This is my first read by Lisa Phillips but it certainly won't be the last. This story is packed with adventure, suspense, interesting characters, and a love story. If you're looking for an entertaining read this is it!

Fast Fall

It seems to me that Zander fell fast for Nora. And no matter where they went, someone else is there. That can be frustrating, even for a reader. There is a lot of action and that moves the story along. It's a clean story. I appreciated that.

Last Taste of Freedom

Wow! Another high octane read by Lisa Phillips. Manipulative father, damsel in distress and a team of high energy, highly trained operatives game for adventure and rescue. They deal in rescues and dangerous situations. She doesn't think she's worthy of rescue.
