After her divorce, Shelby Anderson moves to the charming streets of Charleston, hoping for a fresh start. To meet her new neighbors, she starts a book club, expecting lighthearted conversations and new friendships. What she doesn’t expect is the whirlwind of secrets and drama that come along with her seemingly perfect neighbors.

There’s Willadeene, an older woman who seems to be in everybody’s business and has no filter between her brain and mouth.

Lacy Caldwell appears to have it all—a beautiful home, a picture-perfect family, and an enviable life. But Shelby soon senses that there’s more going on behind Lacy’s flawless facade. Then there’s Cami Gutierrez, who tells everyone her husband is stationed overseas, though her life seems far more complicated than she lets on. And then there’s Joan, a woman who seems a bit sad, but Shelby doesn’t know why.

Looking for a good read? Try this one!

I really enjoyed the Waverly Lane books. The characters were interesting and the story line was varied. It was an easy book to read - as are all of Rachel's books.I totally recommend starting with a short series such as this one. It prepares the reader for the longer series. Just Great!

A book that brings neighbors together

This was such a fun read. I got thru it in 3 hours. It made me really want my own book club. I love how the women in this story came together inspite if being so different. They created a support system which gave each of them the courage to be comfortable in their own skin. Worth the read!

To happy new beginnings

I loved each of the characters. I would have liked to see Daniela, the Italian, develop more as a character. This character would represent those that are present in groups but not actually part of the inside core group. But overall, I was hooked and could not put down until I reached the happy ending.

Sweet and fun look at a neighborhood and book club ☺

I really enjoyed reading this book, sweet and fun look at a neighborhood, book club, and life in general. So many secrets, which did No one any good. A good look at being honest with the people in your life, and with yourself. Recommend to anyone who might like to read...
