OK but rather twee and it didn't make me want to read on

OK but rather twee and I didn't make me want to read on... took me twice as long as usual to get through it. I found it a bit basic with explanations of their thoughts that somehow came across as rudimentary or unnecessary and fell flat. TBH, if I hadn't known otherwise, I would have assumed it was written by a new author, or even a teenager perhaps. There was nothing really wrong, it just didn't inspire me and make me want to get to the next chapter... which I did more through stubbornness than enjoyment. For those that want to know, there was zero spice, just gentle kissing and holding hands. So, worth around 2.4 stars IMHO, rounded down to 2 stars in the basic Amazon system.

Well done

The story takes you through quite a bit of their life experiences. They have been through a lot. They both have great hearts and love their family and community. They both are contending with PTSD as well. Some tough choices they need to make. Loved the grandad. He was truly precious. I appreciated the loving support they all provide for each other. A really good story. Makes you want to read the next book in line. You become invested in all their lives.A good read.

Brilliant and Heartwarming

It's quirky, funny but also described every day struggles and life's challenges in such a realistic manner. It felt like I was there sharing it all with the characters.I would recommend this book to my dearest friend, who has had her fair share of losses to cheer her up.

Nice read

This was a nice read, but a bit predictable. But I did read the whole book and it was enjoyable.
