The feud between Heather and Jesse seems to be moving in the right direction. They are at least talking again after many years. This talking has led to a truce and they finally acknowledged their feelings for each other. Before it could do any further, Jesse has an unknown visitor. A young boy, 15, has come to his door claiming he is Jesse’s son and that his biological mother is Heather Carlsen; but he can’t find her.At the time he acknowledges Blake is his by the paperwork he had, he is angry with Heather. How could she not have told him he was a father and how could she put him up for adoption? Since his adoptive parents had died and his aunt didn’t want him, Jesse is determined to claim Blake as his and bring him up alone. No way would Heather have a say after what she had done.

The fact that Heather had made mistakes early in life made a interesting, more believable story. Jesse's reaction seems overblown and theatrical though. Could have been more nuanced.
