When Nick and Paige realize they’re unwilling coworkers, sparks fly as they reconnect. Paige is determined to get answers. Nick is eager for a second chance. But when the investigation into his partner’s death reveals hidden dangers within the tour, secrets become harder to keep. a truly lovely stort

This is is an lovely story which would make a lovely film. It has everything from, adventure, romance, thriller elements and tears. I loved it.Paige loved history and her professor put her forward to helping out in Europe for the summer with group's of students. She would be working with 3 other people and you can imagine her horror when she found out one of them was her ex boyfriend Nick who had took off without a word the year before leaving her heartbroken.Im saying no more about the story except its its awesome and a must to read i loved it.

I don’t usually read suspense romances BUT …

I am sure glad I gave this book a try. Paige grew from a woman who screamed when a moth landed on her into a woman who was able to accept that she had feelings for a government undercover agent. The author sklllfully developed Paige’s character so that this transformation was totally believable. There is violence portrayed but not graphically. The language is clean as well. I highly recommend this book, even to readers of sweet romance books only. I read an ARC of this book and this is my honest opinion.

Absolutely ridiculous

This book was...cute, I guess? I definitely prefer the author’s matchmaking series to this one. The suspense was eh. There were some good plot devices (which I won’t elaborate because of spoilers) regarding the intrigue, but it was mostly goofy. It’s difficult to write suspense well, and I think the author put in a valiant effort, but it didn’t quite work for me.Diversity report: There is some diet talk in this book, and everyone is white, thin, attractive, and fully able-bodied. One man is described with characteristics stereotypical of gay men, and bullying from his colleagues results in him leaving his job. There is no pushback against the bullies or the ill treatment.

An intriguing second chance, spy romance.

An intriguing second chance, spy romance. Nick broke two hearts when he dumped Paige by email because his job sent him on a mission. Now, he's helping a friend, who runs a student tour service in Europe, due to past kidnapping attempts. The one issue is that Paige is also a chaperone. Cold shoulders and hot emotions ensue. Issues beyond their relationship play a significant role in the story. These result in a number of predictable and unpredictable situations. The ending is awesome.
