She’s an auto mechanic with no time for love. He’s a Navy SEAL incapable of putting down roots. Can they overcome their emotional baggage before his next mission separates them forever?

Cheyenne Miller has no time for love. She’s too busy working three jobs to pay for her mother’s rehab while dreaming of one day opening her own garage. Besides, she’s seen what love can do to a person. Her mother’s pill addiction is proof.

Zach Thomas is at a crossroads. After losing his parents, the Navy gave him a family. Now his best friend and fellow SEAL is leaving the military—and he wants Zach to join him. Zach can’t imagine continuing as a SEAL without his brother in arms, but he’s just been offered the promotion of a lifetime.

When Zach’s truck breaks down, Cheyenne is the only mechanic who doesn’t deem it a lost cause. The attraction between them is undeniable, but Cheyenne’s father was killed in the line of duty, making her leery of relationships with men in uniform—especially when her mother’s addiction once again rears its ugly head. Can Zach convince Cheyenne he’s worth the risk before his next mission separates them forever?

Touching and thought provoking!

Oh I loved Cheyenne and Zach! These two have some sorrows from their past but I loved watching them as they met and became friends and helped each other. There was great chemistry between them and they definitely felt it but tried to avoid it.When their walls started to come down, or when they were vulnerable, they other was there to lift and help and understand. It was sweet. But they had their challenges and hangups. They had to decide what they wanted to do about all of those.I loved the dynamics between these two. I loved their different personalities. I loved Cheyenne's love and passion for her profession. And her dedication and love for her mom. But man, that was a struggle too! Cheyenne's mom is in rehab and it has taken a toll on Cheyenne. I thought that the author did a fantastic job portraying the many aspects involved with rehab for both the person going through rehab and the one(s) on the outside of it, trying to support and hoping for a light in their loved one's life. And she also did a great job with the doctor/therapist helping Cheyenne's mom. I'll admit there were a few times that I had tears in my eyes for Cheyenne and her mom and their struggle. But I loved how the author was able to bring it all together in the end.Grab a copy and enjoy some sweet and clean romance and some struggles. But overall, enjoy watching the hope and love in this story.Content: Clean. The book deals with addictions, death, and such but the author wrote it in a very sensitive manor.I received a copy from the author. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.Happy Reading!!!
