A Sweet Cowboy Romance

He hates her guts. She’d rather shoot off her own foot than ask for help.

Maggie Murphy has been away from home too long, and her brother Charlie has made a mess of the family’s ranch and the family’s reputation. Max Welling, the cowboy who saves Maggie from a band of trail robbers, doesn’t even know her, and he already hates her guts. When Charlie kidnaps three small children, Maggie realizes how deep her brother’s treachery runs, and she vows to stop Charlie before more innocent people get hurt. But Maggie is just one woman, and Charlie has forty gunslinging cowboys at his command. Can Maggie swallow her pride long enough to ask Max Welling for help? Can Max let go of his hatred for the Murphys long enough to help Maggie right a horrible wrong? Will either of them be able to look past their differences and find space for love?

I’m coming home

I’ve been away from my home, being a companion to my cousin. She has now married. So I’m on my way home, the stagecoach is being attacked and there are three elderly ladies and I in the coach, the older ladies were afraid that the robbers would get their mother’s ring so they gave it to me for safety. They got out of the stagecoach and I pretended to be scared and frightened but all the while just waiting for the robber to get closer to me…. Then wham I hit him with my brass knuckles, as things progressed we could hear riders coming so the other robbers rode away. Leaving the fellow I knocked out behind..

Excellent from page 1 to the last page.

I never hesitate to purchase books written by Jennifer Beckstrand. I have a shelf full, almost all are about the Amish. Love J.B's sense of humor in every book!

Fun Adventure!

This second book was much better than the first one, partly because of the plot, but also because of the characters. I really enjoyed it.
