He never meant to fall in love with her—but his heart had other plans.

Tad Palmer vowed to a dying friend that he would watch over the man’s wife and child, and years later he’s never once wavered. But the promise grows heavier when Tad realizes he’s fallen for Posey Jacobs and her spirited little boy, a truth he fears could break the bond he’s sworn to protect.

Posey has mourned, healed, and slowly opened her heart again—mostly thanks to the steady, selfless cowboy who treats her like cherished family instead of the woman he’s secretly losing sleep over. Winning Tad’s attention, however, might be more challenging than raising her son… or keeping track of her goat who insists she’s a dog.

With a town full of lovable oddballs, unexpected laughter, and more than a spark of romance, Tad’s Treasure delivers a sweet, historical western tale about hope, found family, and the courage it takes to claim a second chance at love.

Editorial Reviews

"If you’re looking for a captivating read that will pull at your heartstrings, you absolutely must dive into this book. From the very first page, I was swept away by the raw emotions and complex dynamics between the characters, especially Tad and Posey. Their inner turmoil and conflicting feelings drew me in, making it impossible to put the book down."

Fun loving characters that make you frustrated but also happy for them!

I loved this book and the characters! Nate was such a sweet little boy that will surely benefit with Tad as a father. I have a quilt from my grandmother that I cherish!

Incredibly boring! Could have been a GREAT read but so very longwinded I lost interest!

When you take over FIVE chapters to develope a character you run the risk of loosing interest! Well if that was your goal... It worked! One of the most tedious books I have read this year!!!

Tad and Posey made a lovely couple but it was Agnes and her antics that stole this story!

Betrayal and spitfulness can cause years of Hurt

Tad overheard how husband own mother and his supposed fiancè really felt about him after finding the woman he was to marry in deep passionate kisses with somebody unknown to him even, as she turns and tells him it's only for the money she is marrying him but how worthless she thinks he is. Once Tad did find live again he couldn't trust it again. Posey knew she really loved him and that he needed time which she gave him. Excellent book definite five star
