Couldn't put it down.

The story is exciting from the very beginning and leaves the reader guessing as to what will happen next. It must be preceded by The Dukes Conspiracy to truly get a full grasp of the story.

Well written and captivating Regency Romance.

Even though I'm not a big fan of Regency romance, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Wendy's fluid writing style was a pleasure to read, and the story had me in from the start. Read it in one sitting. Highly recommended.

Very Enjoyable Story

I have read other books by this author and the first book in this series ' The Duke Conspiracy' some years ago when it was first released. I am pleased that Lady Elizabeth (Rosamunde's friend from the first book) and Lord Heath have their own story. Elizabeth is a strong and confident young lady and Justice was made for her, although it took some time and various twists and turns for this to become apparent. Pansy Elizabeth's maid was a gem and there were some amusing moments involving her. I would thoroughly recommend this book and author.
