He's a fun-loving cowboy with a quick laugh and a big heart. She's a barrel racing champion with a chip on her shoulder. Can Emmett and Molly get over their pasts in order to build a future together?

Former rodeo star, Emmett Graves, has retired to Brush Creek Horse Ranch to train barrel racing horses. He loves to make jokes and is completely content with his life—sans women, thank you very much. His momma left when he was twelve, and he's learned that the female portion of the human species can't be trusted.

Barrel racing champion, Molly Brady shows up at Brush Creek ready to forget about her ex and the restraining order she had to get against him. She's over all things cowboy, and she wants nothing to do with Emmett, who ruined her favorite shirt the first time they met.

As Emmett teaches Molly how to train a horse before it starts winning rodeo events, the spark between them is hot and instant. Can Emmett figure out how to trust women? And even if he does, will Molly allow a cowboy to rope her heart again?

Another great read

Another great read from Liz Isaacson.Emmett and Molly's journey is tinged with mistrust (on both sides). As ever with this series you touch little on the lives of the characters that featured in previous books which gives a great sense of life to Brush Creek.I on't like to give too much away of the story when writing a review but if you are after a clean, well written, HEA romance then look no further!

A New Snippet of Life on Brush Creek Ranch

Emmett Graves has everything he needs. A job he loves training horses for the rodeo. A cat for companionship. Friends who live all around him on the ranch and all kinds of women to date when the mood strikes. He has no wish to be in a relationship. After his mom walked out when he was twelve, he doesn't trust the female of the species AT ALL. If he's a little lonely lately, that will pass. So what if all his buddies have suddenly paired up. He's OK with being one of two bachelors left on the ranch. The ranch wives can just turn their matchmaking eyes on someone else, thank you very much!Molly Brady left the rodeo circuit to get away from her stalker. With 6 National wins under her built, she could be considered an expert barrel racer. While she knows how to ride them, training them is another story. When the boss, Landon, assigns her to work with Emmett Graves, she immediately recognizes him as the guy who dumped lemonade all over her new shirt at the dance on Friday night. She cannot believe her luck. She has no desire to work with or even, see, this man every day. Can they work together to train champions? As Emmett and Molly work together, the animosity wears off and becomes mutual respect. What happens when it slides into attraction? These short little snippets into the lives of the cowboys on Brush Creek Ranch are a delight. They are short, quick reads where the characters have real-world problems - cancer, stalking, death of spouse, unplanned pregnancy - and they manage to get through those problems with a heavy dose of love and forgiveness. While each can be read as a stand-alone novel, they're more fun to read in order so that each can build on the ones before. Pick up one today!
