When I read the previous book, I was excited that Jill and Vince would be getting their own book, and it was going to be the next one. I love how Vince is still standing by Jill and is there for her considering that she ran right after they got married, but she had a good reason. It was fun seeing Vince out of his element in Harmony Valley, but he acclimated pretty quickly thanks to Sam and especially Teddy who you would tell wanted to be there for his father and they bonded pretty quickly. As we read this story, we find out that both Jill and Vince have painful pasts, it’s no wonder Vince was drawn to her in high school, kindred souls. I’m concerned for Glamma and her forgetfulness and I’m also worried about Jill because I know she wants to be with Vince and he’s all in other than trying to figure out where to land especially when his grandfather needs him and Jill, because of what happened to her in the past, doesn’t feel like she can be a wife to Vince. With Jill voicing her concerns about feeling she couldn’t be everything for Vince that a wife should be, broke my heart. When Vince got the call about his grandfather and had to leave, I knew this would be a make it or break it moment for Jill. Love how at the end of the book Jill has her power back, walked in, and took control of the situation with Vince, like a boss. At that point, I knew whatever happened next, these two would make it. LOVED the ending with Jill’s surprises and I’m beyond thrilled for all of them. Wonder what is happening next in Harmony Valley.
