First I have something I want to say..I have loved each and every single book up to now in this series. Yes there emotional and you might need tissues. In each book they bring us laughter, they bring us tears, but so much more. That’s what Ms. Curtis does in each of her books. It’s ok. She delivers in each of them with the essence of family....Small town tight knit community love for each other. You can’t get better then that.Life is about ups and downs. Life is about funny and tears. Life isn’t perfect. That’s something about these two characters I loved. They both have scars inside, and out too. They found each other in a way that might not by conventional, but nonetheless they found each other. Read on and enjoy the journey with Kathy, Dylan, and everyone in Harmony Valley....Kathy Harris knows she needed help which is why she put her son Truman’s well being first. She had a lot of work ahead of he so getting a job at the small animal clinic in town is the first step. There she met Dylan O’Brien who was some kind of healer with horses. He has a way of understanding her. On one occasion he takes her out then drives her back home. She’s wondering how he knew where she lived. That’s when something comes to light, and it’s not good.Dylan doesn’t like the fact he’s lying to Kathy. He has reasons for taking the job, and Kathy’s brother Flynn just wants the best for her. He sees that. But he might be going about things the wrong way. They have something in common besides that they both have sons. He’s got a lot going on. They both have some baggage if you will. He shouldn’t be thinking of starting anything with her. It’s not the right time. But Kathy surprises him one day at the lowest moment of his life. It moves him.
