Wrapping Up Ends

I will be honest and admit that this is my least favorite book in the Santa's Secret Helpers series and my least favorite book by Ms. Morgan. This book seems to be a continuation of the previous book and wrapping up ends. But there was nothing new nor really special in it other than to wrap up ends. At a few points, the storyline seemed contrived to me.Was it an enjoyable read? For the most part it was. Would I re-read it? I highly doubt it. It is a fast easy read if you need something to escape when everyone is driving you crazy but if this is your first book in the series, start with book one.Every author has a book that doesn't quite hit the mark and sometimes it is the reader who just isn't in to it. For me, this book didn't hit the mark. Will I continue reading Ms. Morgan's books? Definitely.A key point is that this book is a novella meaning under 200 pages so there isn't quite a lot of room for growth of the series. I am finding a number of authors I normally read are putting out novellas in time for holiday reading. Some can work magic in under 200 pages and others need more wand practice for the magic to happen.

Small towns and farms are great.

I never wanted to live in big city pollution, crime, high taxes, high rent mortgages. People can be kind and helpful. It takes two. Nominees and gossip exist but caring and sharing are worth that.

Endings and beginnings

This series has kept me enraptured from one boom to the next The love portrayed among these pages pulls you in and make you want to continue in this sweet small town with all the caring people living there.

A great read if you like a lighthearted book, I love it 😀

Leeanna Morgan has become my favourite author. Her stories pull you in quickly and the characters are so likeable, the different books introduce you to many of the townsfolk and I find myself wishing that I lived there. I always feel disappointed when I have finished the series as they leave me wanting more and to me that is what a good author does.
