She’s loved him her whole life. But when everything is on the line, will he finally see what’s been right in front of him all along?

The Dawson brothers are no strangers to hard work or hard choices. But when a powerful developer sets its sights on Willow Creek, threatening to reshape their quiet, close-knit town, the Dawsons find themselves divided. Decker Dawson isn’t so sure resisting change is the best move—especially when the offer on the table could solve a lot of problems.

Faith Haws has only ever known the life she loves—her grandfather’s ranch, the land she was raised on, and the quiet beauty of her hometown. But between her grandfather’s fading memory and a mountain of medical bills, the pressure to sell grows stronger by the day. Still, Faith is determined to fight for Willow Creek’s future… even if it means standing against Decker, the boy she once adored—and never quite got over.

When fate throws them together on opposing sides of the same storm, Faith and Decker must decide what really matters: the land beneath their feet or the bond growing stronger between them. As the battle for Willow Creek heats up, old friendship begins to stir into something deeper—and more dangerous to the walls around both their hearts.

Can love grow where trust was broken? And will they find the courage to fight not just for their town, but for each other?

Editorial Reviews

"I loved the theme of ‘his hand is outstretched still’ woven throughout this book, and how faith was so central to each of the main characters as they dealt with hard things and found ways to be thankful, at the same time." DGL

"Everything about this book just made me happy. I love the way the author created her characters. Honestly, Faith and Decker might be my favorite characters that I’ve read in a while. I loved the way they seemed like real people with real problems, dealing with them in the best way they could." My Book a Day

"A cute best friends to lovers cowboy romance that focused on family and faith. I loved Decker and Fatih's journey as they tried to figure out the best path forward both with each other and in their community. So many faith filled, happy moments." MM

Fun and Clean Friends to Love Story

This was such a fun read with the friends to love trope. I was hooked from the very beginning as I wanted to see what would happen to the land of Faith's ancestors, how her grandpa would do, and of course how the story with Decker would turn out.You can just feel for Faith as she has a lot on her shoulders. All the big decisions before her and no where to turn for guidance. Then Decker comes back into her life more consistently, and while that is wonderful she is also having to hold her secret crush on him inside herself. But man is he handsome and charming.Decker himself has a lot on his plate as well as he tries to help his family ranch, help in the council of what to do with the land, and what to do with his future, especially when it comes to his career.I thoroughly enjoyed watching Decker open his eyes to the idea of loving his best friend, wanting to balance it all correctly and stumbling over saying the right thing for Faith to hear. I enjoyed watching this handsome, charming guy discover that he's been blind, that he's made mistakes and he's got some work cut out for him when it comes to the heart of a certain woman in his life. Thanks to Decker's family he's pushed in the right direction and Faith and Decker's story is such a sweet one that kept me reading all the way through to the end.*I received a complimentary copy from publishers, publicists, and or authors. A review was not required and all opinions and ideas expressed are my own.

So good!

At first, I was a little torn with the abruptness of Decker bad Faith’s relationship. After finishing the whole book, I see that it worked out how it was supposed to. This had all the happy, small town feels and I loved it.

A very good book

School friends that are true friends are so close and know each other so well. This story shares friends, family, and a small community closeness. It shares alot of emotions and life situations and family issues. I hated to see this book end.

Enjoyable and uplifting!

I enjoyed reading this small town/cowboy/friends to lovers story. It is the third book in a series but it is the first one I've read and I thought it was fine as a standalone--but it was good enough that I want to go back and read the earlier books. Decker and Faith were very appealing characters whose friendship was lifelong but Decker is finally wanting something more, much to Faith's delight. There is a lot going on in this book from the hospitalization of Faith's grandfather to the lucrative offer made to their families (and others in the community) about selling their ranches to a developer to Decker's job offer requiring a move to NYC to a budding romance. There were sections that dealt with relationship counseling, how to disagree without being disagreeable, how to discern God's will when you aren't sure what to do, etc. All of these things were good but, to me, it felt too busy, too much for this one book. Overall, it was enjoyable and uplifting and I recommend it. I received an ARC from the author and this is my honest and voluntarily-given review.
