What the heck?

I have liked all of this authors books, but this one has me baffled. There was no resolution at all...just ended abruptly. And don't even get me started on the editing, or lack thereof. It could have been such a good book if it had just had an ending. It's hard to explain, but it didn't even end like a normal cliffhanger

A good romantic suspense

I love romantic suspense and this is a new romantic suspense series by a favorite contemporary romance author. Rand and Coral meet while she's hiding out from everyone, including her parents. Later they're surprised to find out that she's a new intern at the law firm where he works. This is a great scene!! Coral and Rand are assigned to work a case which leads to intrigue and some danger. They don't know who's telling the truth, the firm or their client, so they don't know who they can trust.

This story kept me turning pages to find answers to my questions. I'm as confused as Rand and Coral and don't know who's telling the truth!! I can't wait until the next book to get more clues. Besides intrigue and suspense there's also romance and the undeniable chemistry between Rand and Coral.

Be aware going in that this is not a true standalone. You won't get all the answers at the end of this book.

Legal Attraction

I was disappointed in the ending for this book. It leaves a “cliff hanger”. The book has action and suspense but no questions are ever really answered. I will give the author creative license to continue to the next book in the series, so I will probably read at least Book 2 in the series. Just know if you like stand alone books, this is not a stand alone book by my definition.

Wonderful mixture of suspense & Intrigue

What a wonderful book! It is a thrilling page turning book that I couldn’t wait to finish so that I knew the ending but so disappointed that I finished it! I hope to see this story continued in more books!
