Wonderful holiday romance

This is a thought provoking, warm, wonderful holiday tale from Tamie Dearen. The characters are very believable, imperfect humans. Shara and James have joint custody of a Newfounland puppy. This is an interesting story of love, redemption, and letting God be in control. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Redemption

James and Shara dated for just under a year. They attended church and Bible study together. Shara comes from a broken home with her drunken father raising her. She feels she’s not “good enough” for anyone, including God. When James and Shara cross the line, she breaks up with him because she doesn’t want James going to hell. Shara and James don’t understand what following Jesus means. Their friends talk them into adopting a Newfoundland puppy to share. They name him Fezzik and alternate weeks of taking him. This is a great story of redemption through Jesus and a sweet love story of two people searching for answers.

Great Read!

This book was filled with real life problems, pain and insecurities that I myself have in some way have faced at onetime or another. The romance throughout was lovely, but the meaningfulness really stood out to me. An awesome story!
