No more chocolate! No more meddling! No more men! New Year’s resolutions are great. Announcing them in a crowded bar, with a chocolate martini in her hand? Not Maddie Cash’s finest moment. It’s time this new realtor got serious about her life and this time, she means it. But when hospital volunteering lands her at the bedside of bruised and battered Mick Meyer, who has no knowledge of Maddie’s reputation – and no memory of the kiss he begged from her during that long, pain-filled night, her best-laid plans are put in jeopardy. It’s not just his sweet tooth that’s tempting her. The hunky bush pilot with the concussion has an old family property to unload. Making this sale could be Maddie’s professional salvation. But when Mick turns on the charm, she’s in danger of forgetting all her best intentions… on chocolate… on meddling… and especially on men.

Loved this book. Absolutely silly, humourous fun. Characters you'll love and root for, and such a sweet story line you'll feel like you ate all the chocolate.

Finding love when you aren't looking for it

Maddie Cash decides to share a little too much when she announces her resolution of no men, no chocolate and no more meddling on New Year's Eve in Grey's Saloon. She's decided that it is time to grow up, be mature and stop being the spoiled little girl that she believes herself to be. She works hard to stick to her resolutions but she hadn't counted on Mick appearing in her life. Mick is a pilot out of commission after sustaining a head injury and then some. I loved the characters in this story and the fact that they weren't jumping in bed together and then deciding they were in love. This was a nice build up with both characters maturing. I'd definitely read more stories by this author.

Nice *^*

I have really enjoyed to read this story.Roxanne Snopek writing has a nice flow, the characters are well developped and the storyline is sweet, funny and emotional.I hate New Year's resolutions and I think Maddie,is to harsh with herself...no one could/should swear off men and chocolate at the same time but our heroine is so stubborn she tries to resist even when the fate puts a beautiful man on her path.I liked to see how Maddie and Mick's relationship grew stronger page after page, how they helped each other to change their way of living,to overcome their fears and to finally be happy.I would have appreciated to read some more about their future at the end.
