She wants the perfect Christmas. He wants it over already. But fate has other plans.

Kelli just wants a little perfection in her life. Have the perfect Christmas. Be the perfect daughter. Get the perfect parking spot. Be the perfect employee. And pull the perfect pranks on the adorable but off-limits Parker Brockbank in Trade Shows, the guy she went on a first date with two-and-a-half years ago.

The date that was anything but perfect. You don’t always get what you want, and fate has a sense of humor.

Parker wants to ignore Christmas. He usually enjoys it, but since his fiancee broke off their engagement two months ago, canceling his Christmas plans, he doesn’t want anything to do with the holiday. All he wants is to move on and go back to being the Parker that pulls pranks on the charming but off-limits Kelli Ellis from Digital and Print Ads.

Fate has a sense of humor with him, too.

Both Parker and Kelli think they’re going to be spending the holidays alone. Until the owner of the company they work for—a man who has a secret knack for matchmaking—invites a dozen employees to celebrate Christmas on the beach. With a competition and a prize Kelli and Parker both want, the only way to win is by joining in on the Christmas fun.

And when it comes to winning against each other, Parker and Kelli are nothing if not competitive. Can they get past their workplace rivalry and take a chance on a second date that might just be imperfectly perfect?

Sweet, funny, and so heartfelt

Such a sweet story about two imperfectly perfect people fall in love. And really funny too! A great read for the beach, cozying up on the sofa, traveling, or just about anytime you need a book that will leave you smiling and uplifted and entertained.

An okay read

I've never read this author before but I was a little disappointed after the hype I saw. Her writing was too verbose. Sentence runons everywhere and that slowed the pacing down. I thought 40% of the book could have been cut. Not a reread for me.

Absolutely fabulous!

Thoroughly loved the two books in this series and all the characters. Meg, you are truly a gifted writer. Please, please give us more of all these characters at the Royal Palm Resort AND at Merrit & his partners business, (My memory is bad with names). The partners are the best employers, ever, & magnificent men in every way. These books are unique in their fully satisfying entertainment value.

Christmas Fun

A fun read with an amazing array of activities for Christmas done by the employees of Merit and Graham. What a fabulous treat to vacation in such a place for Christmas at the boss' expense. Loved the story.

Clean & sweet story

I enjoyed reading Kelli and Parker's story, through the hilarious mishaps, pranks and heartfelt circumstances. I think they are so much alike but they have to figure all that out and stirring up their relationship stuff and facing those emotions head on realistically is never easy. Thankfully they work for a great company, full of the joy of Christmas and excellent matchmaking.
