I loved

I'm not very found of historical romances but this one is very good. The society's description and the characters intelligence, which avoids situations based in misunderstandings (I don't like those books where the couple fights because some stupid misinterpretation, lack of dialogue or low self-esteem) make you want to read everything, not only this book but all the serie.

Great short read

This was free book on kindle. Lovely short regency romance. Addie who has lost both her parents and has to look after her young brother is forced out of the family home due to a horrible cousin looking to inherit instead of her brother! She meets the dashing Lord Alec who is her saviour in all ways. Great read would highly recommend.

Miss Addie Adelaide’s Triumph

This was a fun and interesting story of hardships over come and first loves, where good triumphs over evil. I especially enjoyed how Miss Addie met the Earl and their subsequent reliance on each other. It’s a darn good read, albeit a bit tame with respect to their sexual attractions.

Not recommendable

This book presents a promising plot idea, but it falls short in several critical areas. Firstly, there's a notable lack of a genuine connection building up between the love interests. Secondly, the main characters felt one-dimensional and lacked depth. And finally while the plot concept had potential, the storytelling itself failed to captivate.

Delightful

I enjoyed the story of Adelaide and her misadventures. It emphasises how helpless and unseen women were in the regency times. I am even more grateful that knights in shining armour exist, angels, saving damsels in distress. I am looking forward to reading about Louise.
