Interesting plot, but big changes too quickly

What I liked:Unique plot with some cool twists. Kudos for that. What was odd:The girl never talked to her mom.The kids "fell in love" too quickly and the reader wasn't taken along enough. It was like an announcement. There was an assumption that she would leave the Amish and we heard very little about that huge decision and follow up. Too bad.The uncle went from being a total Scrooge to a nice guy within 2 sentences. That was unsatisfying. Basically another announcement and that frustrated me. Like ...I hate all Amish! Oh she was very kind. Maybe Amish aren't bad afterall.... (Insert total personality change.)Potential: This could be rewritten with more depth to the characters, back story, and be great!

Couldn't put it down!

This series is one that I have really enjoyed and this one is another wonderful addition to the series. It is a story with twists and turns that keep you guessing and that i couldn't put down after I had started it. I definitely recommend this book as well the others in the series to anyone who enjoys good Amish fiction that is a little different from the norm.

A bit wordy, but finally got to the point

I enjoyed this book, but not as much as the first teo. I know explanations were needed, but at times I was ready to give it up and hope for the best. I'm happy I finished the book, but hope the following ones in the series are not quite as wordy.
