The last thing widower Jedidiah Johnson wants is a wife...but he'd do anything for his daughter, even if it means marrying a woman he doesn't love.

Grace Swanson had no idea what she was getting herself into when she agreed to move to rural Texas as a mail-order bride. An accident upon her arrival blocks out her memory leaving her totally dependent upon handsome cowboy and widower Jedidiah Johnson. Although they’d shared letters, she was completely unprepared for Jed and sweet little Abilene. Still reeling from the loss of his first wife, the struggling man needs Grace's help.

Grace and Jed must iron out their differences, or she'll return to Baltimore – the only secure place she remembers. Or is it?

A sweet romantic historical Christian novella.

Love to read
Sweet, Fun, Easy-reading, & Clean Historical Fiction!!

This is a sweet, fun, and easy-reading historical fiction and I am shocked that more people haven’t discovered this and read it!!! It deals with the wonderful topics of hope, fear, and second chances. It also deals with the topic of trusting in God’s plan for you, even in the midst of bad things happening, trusting in God’s unwavering love and trusting that He really does plan good for you. One of my favorite quotes is: “God’s love for you doesn’t depend on your circumstances or your feelings.” I would encourage anyone who loves clean, wholesome, historical books to read this sweet novella. I was so excited that I won this book on a blog, and personally & freely chose to leave my own, honest review.
