A reluctant witch and a cranky ghost walk into a bar. Literally. And now they’re stuck there together.

Willow Ravensong didn’t choose the witch life. The witch life chose her.

While the ancient family magic has been doled out generously to her mother and two sisters, Willow can’t even cast a simple candlelight charm without burning the house down, making her the laughingstock of her home village.

All she wants to do is read her historical romance novels and forget about magic.

So when the opportunity to relocate and open her very own bookshop falls into her lap, she can’t pack her bags fast enough, takes her cat, Zephyr, and moves to the quaint town of Mysthaven.

But nobody told her the bookshop was once an old saloon with a shady past.

And that it’s haunted.

And she certainly never imagined the first time she sees a ghost, he’d have broad shoulders, be dressed like a hipster, and have eyes like emeralds.

Or, that his current afterlife situation is making him a grouchy pain in her broomstick.

Willow just wants to get rid of this surly spirit, no matter how easy on the eyes he is. But it seems the only way to do that is to use her powers to help him move on—as long as she doesn’t make an enormous magical mess of things, or worse… fall for him.

If you're looking for a cozy, witchy RomCom with small town, Gilmore Girls meets Hocus Pocus vibes, you need to read Bewitching the Ghost this spooky season.

Editorial Reviews

★★★★★ “OMG this was so gooood! One of my favorite books of the year! I loved it so much I will read it every fall!! Brilliant.”

★★★★★ “I loved Bewitching the Ghost so much! It was very fast-paced, and I couldn't put it down. And Willow and Montgomery? All. The. Feels. We get all the swoony (and hot) kisses all while keeping it clean. Another fantastic Gigi Blume book! (As if there was any doubt.) I also really enjoyed all the chapter titles. Two thumbs up on those alone.”

★★★★★ “Oh this book was so much fun! I was obsessed right from the start. I felt like I was watching a movie in my head. The back and forth banter and sizzling chemistry is so incredibly addictive! I couldn’t have loved it more!”

A Delightful Witchy Read

🤍 Happy release day @gigiblume and thank you sending me an arc of Bewitching the Ghost 🤍This book was a fun, bingeable read. It was so easy to binge in a day!I loved the autumn vibes and appreciated how the story never felt creepy. It had a charming Halloween feel that was right up my alley. The romance was so unique and I loved how it hit me right in the feels! The connection Willow and Montgomery was undeniable. My only minor thing was the pop culture reference were thrown in enough to pull me out of the story a good bit. But overall, a fun, cozy read.If you’re in need of a witchy read for spooky season, I would definitely give this one a try.★ ★ ★ ★/5Steam: kissing.TW: spells, death of family on the past, ghosts

Such a fun book that brings all the Gilmore Girls and Sanderson sister vibes!

OVERALL STAR RATING: 4/5CLEAN RATING: 5/5This book was so COOL! I can safely say I’ve never used “cool” to describe a book in a review, but here we are because that’s exactly what this story was. Gigi’s writing is so unique and funny and of course, this book was not without her trademark sassy characters.“He was so attractive, she momentarily forgot all about having to take a wee.”See what I mean? Unique and funny. This book almost read like a vintage classic somehow, yet completely modern at the same time.Willow Ravensong has recently opened a new bookshop/bar in the little town of Mysthaven. Willow is a witch, although not a “gift” she happily claims or is any good at. She’d rather have her nose in a book than spend any time worrying about casting spells. Keeping her new bookshop life sweet and simple doesn’t seem to be possible once she comes face to face with a LITERAL ghost named Montgomery. A pretty good looking one too. LOL This ghost encounter comes with the realization that the bookshop she now owns has an incredibly interesting history and she finds herself stuck in all sorts of witchy predicaments.Willow’s sassy banter with Montgomery gave me total Lorelai Gilmore vibes. There were definitely Sanderson sister vibes as well. Such a fun Gilmore Girls meets Hocus Pocus style book. A perfect read for the upcoming spooky season!

Best Spooky Book!!!!

“You know, they say someone who reads books lives a thousand lives, but someone who doesn’t read, only lives one. “📚📚📚📚📚OMG this was so gooood! One of my favorite books of the year! I loved it so much I will read it every fall!! Brilliant @gigiblumeWillow is new to the town of Mysthaven and opens a bookshop/bar in a location dating back to the 1900’s. She also was born a witch but lacks the skills to perform any spells correctly. Meanwhile, she discovers a “cleaning bandit” that no one else can see! Montgomery, a ghost from 1912, cannot leave her establishment. Starting off as enemies their banter and interactions become so much more as they investigate who he is and how he died. There’s so much more that you’ve got to just read it yourself! Humor, swoon, paranormal activity, the perfect concoction for spooky season! My fingers are crossed that this will turn into a series…please please!
