The first rule of the hate zone: You do not talk about the hate zone.

The pitchforks are out again. Shocker, I know. This time, it’s not just the paparazzi or trolls on social media. Sigh. It’s my ex. And my dad. And even my new limo driver, Enrique. But wait a minute, what's this? Enrique is a total hottie—with eyes black as sin, swagger for days, and dimples that could melt a girl's heart. And...he hates me.

I don’t blame him, really. All he sees is an heiress? I give it to him from day one. He wants a prank war? Bring it on, dude. I wish I could say I expect to win, but Enrique is an infuriating master strategist who uses his red-hot banter in ways that make me feel alive. Maybe even alive enough to let him see who I really am....

From USA Today best-selling author Gigi Blume, The Hate Zone is the first in the Precio Brothers series. A closed-door romantic comedy with mild language, steamy kisses, and flirty innuendo without the graphic content.

Great Read

This book was totally up my street, I love hate to love genre books. The set up of (The Hate Zone) and the characters were beautifully done, but I did find that it was a little bit slow and dragged on in some places, but I was really glad I read it.January Madison is a rich spoiled Reality Star, she has everything in her life that she wants, the question is money and being in the spotlight really everything? There  was a lot more to January and she was awesome as we got to know her more through the book, she truly  has a heart of gold. With her dad running the Madison Luxury Hotels, the only love he has for his daughter is being a control freak, asking January to stay at his penthouse after all the drama she causes with the tabloids. Basically her life is not as good as people think. Until the HOT Enrigue, and wow excuse me but where can I find a driver like him lol, He is hired and I gotta say haha. I loved the banter, pranks and the games these two played on each other, it was so hilarious. With Enrique his  life is the  complete opposite to January's, he has a  big lovable family, and likes to work for his money, with his deep love for cars. When he thought he was gonna be driving higher people he gets dumped with the boss’s spoiled daughter, but the more time Enrigue and January spend together the more, sizzling romance begins to bloom between them. Enrique sees more in January then she lets on, and January sees what it's like to have a normal big family and love. This was my first time reading GiGi books. What I really liked is that the book was a POV between the two main characters. I love getting both sides of the story from both points of views and the feelings they had for each other. It made it even more thrilling and loving. There were some adoring romance scenes and it was full of  laughter and fun. Also had some surprises that popped up too. A loving contemporary romance and overall not a bad read, the ending was really sweet. I can't wait to see what GiGi brings for the next book.

A Clean Sizzling Romance

4.5⭐This was amazing. It was my first Gigi Blume book and it won't be my last. Hot limo driver? Snobby socialite? Tension? Sizzling chemistry? You've charmed me.The meet cute where they immediately didn't get along which led to prank wars and an enemies vibes immediately sold me. I loved the Spanish culture in this with Enrique's family. The transition from enemies-to-lovers was perfect. You could see their strong dislike turn into love throughout the whole book. And them kisses? Flawless. Perfection.Go read this if you love enemies-to-lovers, tension and swoony kisses.Content: kissing only

Loved it

This book definitely bordered on the steamy side of closed door, but I enjoyed it a lot! I will say I definitely prefer the sequel, Nacho Boyfriend, to the first book, and there were a few irritating typos in this one, but it was still a thoroughly enjoyable hate to love romcom. January and Enrique were fun, funny, and had chemistry that was electric! I appreciated Enrique’s gentlemanly side (especially near the end of the book when he apologized to January) and their kissing scenes.

Witty.

A romcom with soul and so much fun and laughter. Couldn’t have loved two characters more than Enrique and January.

Annoying relatives, crazy chickens and Nicholas Cage

Gigi Blume is a new to me author. The Hate Zone was a fun story with characters who are from two very different social classes, who have off the chart chemistry, and who start a prank war to completely irritate one another. There are annoying relatives, crazy chickens and Nicholas Cage and I enjoyed the banter, crazy family shenanigans, and the building romantic tension. That being said, this was recommended to me as a fun, clean-read, romantic comedy. There were times when the story content was pushing the border of being clean to being very sensual and there was insinuated profanity even though it wasn't directly spelled out. Overall a fun, story and I look forward to reading other books in this series.
