He loves me . . . or he loves me not?

Nothing’s coming up roses for Daisy, who’s been abandoned by everyone she’s ever loved. But when an old house becomes available, Daisy has a chance to own the flower shop of her dreams.

Every rose has its thorns, though, and Daisy’s just discovered a big one: To qualify for the house, the renovation must be completed by a couple. That leaves Daisy in the lurch . . . until Forrest steps in.

Forrest has his own dreams for the house. It’s spacious enough to accommodate his dad’s wheelchair, and fixing it up will give him an excuse to spend time with Daisy.

Sparks fly as they soon learn they’re renovating more than rooms and walls. When Forrest’s parents decide to move to the big city he is left without an excuse to stay in town. And Daisy must face the question: he loves me or he loves me not?

A clean, cute romance!!

This is Daisy's and Forrest's story. This is a clean romance with a fun twist to it!At first Daisy and Forrest are not a couple but when they both show interest in a dilapidated house the town wants to get rid of, they find themselves spending time together a lot!!They have work together to get this house renovated. And as a fun spin, they also have to answer the clues the previous owners left.So those clues play a role in the storyline. That's a fun spin, similar the the Good Hope Series by Cindy Kirk!!The rules behind the ownership of this house play a role in the storyline! They have to stay together to keep the house. If they do, they're given enough money to not only renovate it but also to allow Daisy's dream business be built right on the property!!But the main part of the story is about the issues that the main characters have. Daisy is leery of any relationship as everyone she's loved has always left her.Forrest is torn between taking care of his aging parents and following his heart.I liked this story. It's a well-written story with strong characters. What I didn't like was how Daisy was portrayed as a person so unwilling to compromise she gave up on Forrest. And it took Forrest a huge move to show her he loved her!!Definitely an author I'll check out again tho!

Great read!!!

If you are looking for a small town romance that will sweep you off your feet, look no further than Jenny Rabe’s “Chalk it Up to Love.” For reference, I typically am a thriller/mystery book kind of gal, but I really wanted to take a break from that and picked this novel up not knowing it would consume me and I would devour the book in one sitting.Where do I begin?First of all, JOB WELL DONE, Ms. RABE… Being it my first read of this author, I was HIGHLY impressed with this book and have several things worth mentioning.Small town feel throughout the book as it takes place in a small town. I could invision the town as the author described it to the reader.I enjoyed the point of view that was shared between the two main characters. It was enough to keep it interesting but not too much to be overwhelming.DESCRIPTIVE WRITING. I was in awe of the imagery that was painted and imprinted in my mind throughout the novel. It truly makes you feel like you are right beside the characters as you read this.Y’all, I was HOOKED within the first chapter of this romantic tale. I kept finding myself reading, wanting more just to know what happened! I thoroughly enjoyed myself while reading this book. It is so heartwarming and will make you smile.Great pacing, the story didn’t drag and like I said previously, I was hooked within the first chapter and I typically don’t read romance for every novel that I read. Character development was also really well done!!!! I fell in love with the characters that were in this book. I thoroughly loved the chemistry written beneath the pages of this book. I’ll let you discover what I’m saying as you read through it but it was just so special and oh so charming.Would I recommend? ALL DAY EVERY DAY. It was literally that good, again coming from the girlie that reads thriller non-stop!!! Halfway through the book, I kept thinking of my friends who liked romance so I could recommend the book to them! It’s not every day that you find a CLEAN and wonderful romance to read and share with others.SO, if you’ve made it to the end of this review, I highly recommend checking out this wonderful author. I will DEFINITELY be checking out her other works of art as you should, too!

Sweet Valentines Day read that does’t fissppoint

Liked the characters. Daisy who meets her love when she is in a dumpster retrieving her chalk. They seem like an unlikely match but an opportunity to renovate a house brings them together. Loved the clues about love that the prior owners left for Daisy and Forrest. Never realized there were chalk artists and loved how that idea was built to become more than a hobby.
