These books aren't all that great but I have a hard time stopping when I've started a story. The writing is kind of childish and the romance is very surface level.

The Glowing Sands

I dearly love all of the books I have read by Ms. Kimberly Loth! Her characters are well-developed, her world-building is amazing and the stories are great!

"The Glowing Sands" picks up right where Book 2 left off, with Liv at the Goddess Sanctuary with her memory erased. She doesn't know anything about her past, her family or her boyfriend, Gabe. Liv is a Goddess and has no idea that her goal in life is to kill Jinn, who supposedly suck the life force from young women. Gabe is a Jinn and when she sees him after losing her memory, she is revolted by him and tries to kill him.

Add in the truly horrid Jinn, Samir, and some awful Goddesses, and you have a great book! Will Liv get her memory back and remember that Gabe is the love of her life? Or, will she kill him and all the other Jinn as she has been taught to do?

Keep up the great work, Ms. Loth! I can't wait to see what happens next!

The best in the series

This was my favorite of the four books. I felt the change of pace and scenery came just in time

Keeps getting better.

This author has done it again! Here I am on the edge of my seat anxiously reading on my iPad, about to flip the screen,completely engrossed in the story and it ends abruptly. No warning and I’m left with my mouth open screaming in my head noooooo! The plot is so good with all types of unexpected twists and revelations that you never see coming. Love it because I can never predict correctly what will happen next. Yes some decisions are idiotic sometimes down right suicidal, but Liv still manages to pull through and Gabe fights for her before taking into account he could die and/or be captured easily. His belief that his love for her is absolute and non wavering is what this novel truly is about. Liv has no idea how powerful she truly is but with members of her own family ready to betray her and lie, whom can she really trust? What is the true story behind Bast, Natalia and Gabe? Is all jinn endangered by the goddesses who are on the warpath knowing Liv is in love with one of them?
