Natalie didn't ask Santa to send her an ex-boyfriend this year. She definitely didn't ask for him to stay at her B&B.

All Natalie wants for Christmas is to survive being in charge of the town's holiday parade and fill up the last few rooms in her B & B. But Santa must have a sense of humor since she didn't really expect to be filling it with her ex-boyfriend.

Cade hasn't been home for the holidays for four years. Not since the Christmas he'd planned to propose to Natalie... before she dumped him. This year's Christmas gift? Running into her again. Surprise!

Now stuck with Cade, Natalie must face the reality that she might have made a mistake. Maybe, just maybe, keeping her secret isn't worth sacrificing their happily ever after.

Amazing, updated sweet romcom!

Loved this second chance romance! Karen Thornell’s taken this amazing debut novella and updated it with a great new cover and some extras thrown in. Even though it’s a novella, I felt like it had the richness of a full length novel. Loved Natalie & Cade! They’re such relatable and endearing characters. Because they had a relationship prior to the story, it didn’t feel like the romantic aspects were rushed in any way. It’s a fun, sweet, clean romance romcom fans will definitely enjoy! On the verge of an engagement four years ago, Natalie Taylor suddenly broke things off without warning. Now four years later, Cade Davis is visiting family for Christmas in the small town of Greenbank, Colorado and unexpectedly stays at the Bed & Breakfast newly owned by his former girlfriend, Natalie. It’s clear there’s a lot of unrequited feelings just underneath the surface and each tries to dance around the fact that they still care for one another. Cade wants answers though. Will Natalie avoid telling him the truth or will she give love a second chance?Natalie had a rough childhood and it’s difficult for her to trust. When Cade got too close four years ago, she had to run away for more reasons than just normal relationship fears. She regrets how she left things, but is still determined to remain single. I really felt for her. Her mother was just awful and this contributes to her fears, but there’s also another reason, which she was too afraid to tell Cade.Cade is such a swoony, sweet guy. He’s a pediatrician, yet has a lot of self doubt especially where Natalie is concerned. These two both had a lot to overcome, and I was so happy to see them finally open up to each other and address what happened four years ago. This delightful, enjoyable romcom has a lot of heart. It’s got the perfect blend of romance, depth, and humor with just the right amount of Christmassy goodness. Easy to read in a day. Highly recommend! I received an advanced complimentary copy from the author. All opinions are my own and I was not required to provide a positive review.

Absolutely wonderful!

I absolutely loved this sweet novella and was completely engrossed! I wasn’t expecting the serious conflict between Cade and Nat but it definitely made the storyline. And I will definitely be reading April’s story!

great Christmas read

I really enjoyed this clean Christmas romance. It’s a second chance at love, and I love how it alternates between his and her points of view.

Sweet, Second Chance Novella

This was a very well-written, sweet Christmas novella. I usually struggle with the pacing of novellas but since this is a second-chance romance trope, it worked really well. Natalie’s problem is a heartbreaking issue and while she could have handled it all better, her hurt and choice was understandable. I loved that they both hadn’t moved on to serous relationships because they truly loved each other. You are promised a happily ever after in a short, quick package.Romantic Content: Kisses
