One thing is for sure… law school was a breeze compared to love.

September Miller has a ten-year plan, and not a single line of it involves having a social life. So why does it sting that her coworkers think she’s a bore? And why—why—is she recruiting her newly moved-in neighbor to help her prove them wrong?

Garrett barely has furniture, yet he’s already knee-deep in teaching the overachieving lawyer next door how to unwind. Purely as a favor, of course. It has absolutely nothing to do with the fact that he finds her irresistible.

But weekly Saturdays together turn dangerous fast—because her future is fixed, his time in town is limited, and suddenly a little arrangement is starting to look a lot like something neither of them planned for.

Objection to Love is a sweet romance with plenty of laughs and a happily ever after. It is the third book in the series, but can be read as a standalone.

From flat tire to fire

Flat tires. Who knew they could lead to such great relationships. This was a fun filled book. I enjoyed going back to Greenbank and seeing characters a little further down the road from where we last left them.I don't want to give any spoilers, but finding a balance in life is a large theme in the book. You have a workaholic, Em, who needs to find fun and is bothered that she is perceived as someone who will burn out on the job. She enjoys her work, but sees a lack in her life. She has to find it and asks her new neighbor, Garrett, to help. There is a moment late in the book where Em's friend Natalie (from Christmas in Love), talks about balance. And after reading that, I was able to walk away feeling a little more healed in my own heart and life than before. I can't really explain why, but I felt at peace. So, although this book has puns, laughter, "fun" filled Saturdays, physical injury 🤕, and some crappy parents, you have a balance in it by allowing some great real conversations about life and the things one could want from it.Another hit by Karen Thornell. I'm excited for whatever comes next from her.4.5

Karen’s done it again!

“This would be a great place to kill someone.”I loved this story from the moment I started reading it. Em & Garrett are the cutest couple.Em has a 10 year plan. Falling in love and dating didn’t fall into that 10 year plan.Enter Garrett. Her charming and handsome new neighbor who just moved in. He is determined to get Em to have fun. To not just spend all her time working. They both help each other to figure out what is most important in life.

Loved it!

It's so hard to find a true romance without the x-rated feel to it but this was perfect. It was the first book I've read by this author but I just ordered two more of her books. I laughed. I swooned. I couldn't put it down! I loved the dual perspective. I'm re-reading this one while I wait for the others to arrive!

Not one to miss!

Cute cute cute cute cute.Yep, 5 cutes.Neighbors, deals, a seriously nice guy, a workaholic girl, adventures, misadventures, family dynamics, cute banter, so many puns, and just a sweet story about falling in love and sorting out your priorities.Read it. And read April and Jackson's story. And Natalie and Cade's. Because, really, who doesn't need a little more happy and sweet in their life?Thank you @authorkarenthornell for the ARC. All opinions are my own.
