All the maid at Whiskey Mountain Lodge wants for her birthday is a handsome cowboy billionaire. And Colton can make that wish come true—if only he hadn’t escaped to Coral Canyon after being left at the altar...

Annie Pruitt has worked for the Whittaker brothers for years, and now with the lodge a full-fledged mountain resort, she's the full-time maid up the canyon. She's watched all these people come through Whiskey Mountain Lodge who've found love.

And she wants to be next.

When the whole family gathers for Annie's birthday party, they tell her to make a wish. Easy, peasy. She wishes for a cowboy billionaire of her own, and not five minutes later, in walks tall, broad, beautiful Colton Hammond.

Colton needs a place to stay after his fiancée leaves him standing at the altar with all of his friends and family watching. He's put Colorado in his rear-view mirror and he's not going back. He's also not interested in women or dating. He just needs somewhere to stay for a few nights, and he's heard great things about Whiskey Mountain Lodge--but not, apparently, that it's closed for a private event every year during the holidays.

But the Whittakers are nothing if not kind and accommodating, and they manage to find a bed for Colton. Sparks fly between him and Annie when she starts asking him questions, and with so many meddlers at the lodge, he and Annie really don't stand a chance of just ignoring each other.

Will Annie's birthday wish come true? Or will Colton's scarred heart keep them from achieving happily-ever-after?

Clean Christian Romance

Firstly I do love a good clean christian Romance. I have purchased a lot of the Author's books. I found Colton so very frustrating. I felt sorry for Annie notwithstanding her insecurities. I understood where she was coming from. Colton did what he wanted, when he wanted even though he knew his actions hurt Annie. He went horse riding, visiting for hours and even arranged to go to watch a Movie without consulting with her first. His friendship with these ladies irritated and frustrated me and it does seem like he put them before Annie. My biggest disappointment is that this "friendship" carries on into his marriage and there is little reference to his and Annie's relationship and the focus is on his friendship these women. It is not ok to have female best friends when you are married. Especially a Christian marriage. Annie should be his best friend. I would love to read a sequel to Annie and Colton's story where their marriage is more glorifying to God and Colton adores his wife, not his Best Friends..

Whiskey mountain lodge

Really enjoyable story, took me a little while to get into it as lots of people in the first chapter, but when I realised it was a spin off from another series it made more sense. Now I can't wait to read the next biik.

DNF, but seems like an ok story

This is the first book I have read from this author. With that being said, I did not finish it. I don’t think I even got a quarter of the way through it.I did not like how it felt like there was 100 people in the first chapter alone. Plus the writing, made everyone seem juvenile, just wasn’t for me. Probably won’t read anything else from this author.

Love this cowboy romance

Colton and Annie - loved them! Both were strong characters with issues they needed to work through before they could have their HEA. I really enjoyed their romance and couldn't put this book down. I love hearing from the supporting characters too. I can't wait to read the next book about Bree and Wes.
