A restaurant heiress, a dating app, and the cowboy just down the street she's sworn off...

May Sotheby is the heiress to the ritziest restaurant in Grape Seed Falls. In business for over a hundred years, her father wants the restaurant in Texas Hill Country to stay in the family for generations to come, so he lays down some hard news for May: She has one year to find a husband or the restaurant where she's worked since a teen will go to her already-married sister.

Frustrated with the cowboy-only dating scene in Grape Seed Falls and needing to find a beau fast, she joins an online dating website, TexasFaithful, hoping to find her soul mate without having to relocate--or deal with cowboy hats and boots. She has no idea that Kurt Pemberton, foreman at Grape Seed Ranch, is the man she starts communicating with.

Kurt can't get off the ranch much, so TexasFaithful is ideal for him to meet potential women without wasting time. As he nears fifty, he finds his patience for finding the right woman waning, and the Christian dating website fixes all that.

When he learns May is the beautiful woman he's been corresponding with, he couldn't be happier. May, however, is scared off by the close proximity of Kurt, the big white cowboy hat, and the expectations of her family. If she'd known she was courting the cowboy all this time, she might not have done it. Will May be able to follow her heart so she can keep Kurt and her restaurant?

Maturity

46 and 39. Love this! Sometimes love comes later in life, this I know from personal experience. A few miles down the road, though, can make one much aware of the passage of time, so love can sneak upon a person quickly. But maturity also brings lives that are set and careers that have been hard fought for. The blending of those is a struggle. But loves still comes. And dreams change. Lives blend and a new path is forged. Together. And it is wonderful.Buy the book; take a little journey down a rough road to a beautiful sunset.

May changes her mind about cowboys

I've come to expect the very best from Liz Isaacson, and she never disappoints me. This story of May and Kurt is a beautiful love story. They go through quite a bit of ups and downs on their way to an HEA, but they also grew and changed for the better as they did. Once May made up her mind about what she really wanted, she was well on her way to a complete recovery. I highly recommend Liz' book.

Don't give up hope on true love

I liked that this book involved a love story between two people who were older. There are single people out there who wish and hope for romance. They aren't WAY old, but they already have their careers and lives. I thought it was good how they were able to grow and change. I really liked the characters, and how their thoughts and emotions were easy to picture as I read them. Liz Isaacson is a gifted story teller, and I love reading her books because I know they are well written like that. Great job again, Liz!

Loved this book❤️

Kurt and May were fantastic characters for me. Both were older and had still not found their HEA but they were still looking. I felt sad for May because she was caught between her desire for a husband and family and her desire to run her family’s restaurant. She wanted both but didn’t know how she could make that happen. And Kurt has been hurt before but he was still willing to put himself out there and be vulnerable. I loved his willingness to find ways to compromise to make the relationship work. It took a lot of time and hard choices to get this HEA but it was well worth it. The only thing I wish was in this book was more detail in Kurt’s backstory.
