A team roper clinging to a past he can’t change. A vaulter who’s rebuilt her life from heartbreak. And the rodeo circuit that gives them a second chance…

Austin Bowman lives and breathes rodeo. It’s the only thing that’s never let him down—and the only thing he’s clung to since giving up the girl he once loved. He and his brother made a pact to chase national championship dreams, no matter the cost. But when the woman he left behind steps back into the arena, everything he’s worked for starts to blur.

Charlotte Walker spent years picking up the pieces after Austin broke her heart. She’s found healing in vaulting—merging her passion for horses and gymnastics into a life she’s proud of. But competing in the same rodeos as the man who shattered her trust threatens to unravel everything she’s built.

Old wounds reopen. Regrets resurface. And yet, the love they buried refuses to stay gone.

When their careers force them into close quarters, Austin and Charlotte must confront the truth they’ve both avoided: that some love stories aren’t finished, even when they seem broken beyond repair. But trust doesn’t come easy, and forgiveness might be the hardest ride of all.

For readers who love Debbie Macomber, Susan May Warren, and Janette Oke.

Sweet second chance romance

I'm glad Austin and Charlotte got a second chance. For most of the book I wasn't a big fan of Austin, but he did finally redeem himself. Their story was one of a lot of love, loss, and finally forgiveness and trust. I loved Charlotte and her sweet nature. I loved that Camp Hope played a part in this story. It's my favorite place in Danae Little's world of stories. The epilogue was beautiful and really tied these two series together. This story was definitely about love and romance, but it was also about learning to trust God and I loved the different ways it played out in this story.

Sweet and clean. I thoroughly enjoyed Austin and Charlotte's story.

This sweet gospel centered romance is the perfect book to curl up with on a chilly night with a cup of hot cocoa.Austin and his brother have been participating in rodeos since they were kids thanks to the step-dad that didn't give up on them and taught them the cowboy life. Austin became one of the best ropers on the circuit, and with his brother as heeler, this year they finally had a chance at Nationals. Austin just didn't expect to see his past suddenly participating in the horse vaulting event. Yet it seems nothing can go right in his attempts to heal their relationship. Could he be relying on the wrong person for help?Charlotte Walker hadn't seen her high school boyfriend since she left for college, and he left to join the rodeo circuit, eight years ago. Trying to pretend that everything was fine with how things ended was killing her but she knew she had to leave things in God's hands and have faith in His plan. But could her heart take losing Austin all over again if he didn't choose her? Or would his dream always trump hers?I received an ARC and freely offer this review.

"This was the year"...

Austin and Charlotte had split up eight years ago, even though they still loved each other. After eight years Austin sees Charlotte at a rodeo he and his brother, Adam, are competing in. He finds her after the rodeo and they realize they still have feelings for each other.Charlotte and Austin both have goals and responsibilities that make getting back together difficult. Austin and his brother, Adam, are trying to win enough team roping events to qualify for Nationals. Charlotte will be starting her vet school residency and has to choose between Wyoming, which is closer to Austin, or California, which is four states away but has better benefits.Charlotte and Austin both, but at different times, realize that they are expecting or praying to God for things they want. Once they understand that they need to pray for God to show them His will they are gradually able to put the past eight years behind them and go forward in a loving, trusting relationship. This is a clean, faith-based romance with a happily-ever-after ending. I definitely recommend it.I was given an ARC of this story from BookFunnel at the request of Danae Little, the author. All comments are my honest opinion given voluntarily.

This is a magnificent read.

This is a great read if this increditable series. I just fall in love of Austin and Charity's in their journey to love ever after. They had some trails to overcome with the help of God and His timing. It is also a page turner read.

Austin and Charlotte

Forgiving the Team Roper is a sweet story of learning to love, and growing in faith, of second chances, and persevering. I enjoyed reading as both Austin and Charlotte Grew in Faith, and trust. I enjoyed the rodeo scenes. And I loved the family ties, trust, love, and support.
