A calf roper bound by heartbreak, a camp director hiding her pain, and the boy who just might heal them both…

Cody James once believed in forever—until his wife walked away when he couldn’t give her the one thing she wanted most. Now he keeps to himself, his world narrowed to the rodeo circuit and his loyal roping horse. When a friend ropes him into volunteering at Camp Hope, he never expects a troubled boy and a guarded woman to stir something long buried inside him.

Josie has poured her life into running Camp Hope, helping foster kids find forever homes—even if she’s given up on having one herself. Secrets from her past keep her focused on everyone’s future but her own. But when Cody walks into camp with shadows behind his eyes and strength in his quiet faith, Josie’s carefully built walls begin to crack.

Wylie’s been bounced from home to home, each new promise ending in disappointment. Camp Hope is supposed to be different—but trusting adults is the hardest thing he’s ever faced. When danger from his past resurfaces, he finds himself caught in a storm he can’t escape alone.

As secrets unravel and hearts collide, Cody, Josie, and Wylie must lean on each other—and on God—for a second chance none of them saw coming.

For readers who love Debbie Macomber, Susan May Warren, and Janette Oke.

Wonderful Series!

This series was about love breaking down obstacles but also about friendships. Friendships between the couples and their outside circle. The fourth book adds a new dimension with a third party hungry for trust and acceptance. Loved each book but this one will tug at you!

FANTASTIC SERIES!

This was an incredible series. I was up reading #4 last night until my eyeballs about crossed! I did NOT want to stop reading it.

You get hooked with that first book and just keep reading whenever possible. You hate the series to end but man.......you can't put them down!

Faith and family always

Sometimes, family is not what you were born into, but is what you choose to enter into. Cody and Josie both thought they were destined to be alone and not have a family of their own. But young Wylie needed them to protect him. Along the way, they found themselves making the best family possible by choosing each other.
This series is a wonderful faith-filled story of love, loss, and finding your forever home.
