Super Series

Love this series. I grew up in a loving family who were there if you needed them. But they weren't as colorful as the Hart family. This series is so much fun. Sincere love & support are so important in real life & this series shows it to the max. Am so ready for the next book.

My favorite of the series

Iris is the fourth book in the Hart Land series, these can be read as stand alone, but they do build on the characters so you would get more if you read them in order. Iris has been away from the lake for a while since she has been a nanny, but the kids she was nannying were out of control and she needed to get away from them as they were wearing her down.
Eric has been very independent from his family working on oil rigs and being called to leave a moments notice. But when his sister and brother-in-law died and left him as guardians of his niece and nephew he willing stepped up, but wasn’t sure how to do anything. But since there was a planned trip to the lake house on the Hart Land he figured that would be a good start. Hoping his time there would be a way to help find a new kind of normal with having to adjust with two kiddos to raise.

Almost Five Stars

While this is a really good series and I like the stories very much, I can't in all honesty go with 5 stars because of the grammatical problems (missing words; extra words, incorrect verb tenses, etc.) and spelling errors ("verses" when it should have been "versus"; "gate" when it should have been "gait", to mention a couple). It would be so wonderful if authors demanded higher standards from their editors.

Love this series

I love the way each of the granddaughters of the general and Fiona have some conflict in their life that needs to be satisfied. After Iris who is a nanny became frustrated by her teenage charges who felt they were entitled to whatever they wanted Iris quit her job and went back to the lake. The story unfolds as Uncle Eric comes to stay at the lake with his niece and nephew. He had no clue how to parent them and they are inconsolable after the death of their parents. Such a great story as are all of Chris Kenistons books

One of my favorite books in this fantastic series!

Chris Keniston's small town romance series is very entertaining. The storyline for Iris is believable and engaging moving along at a decent pace. Several parts of the book made me laugh and loved the hint of romance throughout the story. The other family members are great and add depth to the story. Highly recommend this book and all of them in this series so far.
