Another winning Regency Romance from Sofia Laporte!

This was another fantastic read in the Merry Spinsters, Charming Rogues series. I found that the story was similar to my other favourite in the series (Lady Avery and the False Butler) and so I managed to guess most of the twists and all the MCCs identities. That did not detract from the story at all as it is an enjoyable romp and hilariously written. Oh, the mishaps Lady Isla got herself into without any thought of personal safety!!! Teddy won my heart, and the angst and resolution of the story was as swoon-worthy as always. A well recommended read if you like clean, traditional Regency Romances with much humour and wit.

A decent Regency romance

While this was a more complex plotline than some of the others in the series I knew early on the true identity of Lucian Knight. It was blatantly obvious to any reader who's paying attention. However, knowing that didn't detract from the enjoyment of this Regency romance.Perfect for those who enjoy a well-crafted plot with a side of romance, betrayal and second chances.
