It was supposed to be a simple kiss. That was all. Whoops. My plan was perfect: convince my best friend and school quarterback, Ethan, to be the final prize for my matchmaking test where the proceeds go to sending the band to Paris. Plus, if it matches me with my life-long crush, that's a bonus, right? What could go wrong? Apparently, a lot.First, the test matches me and Ethan. Which is easy to explain. Computers make mistakes all the time, right? Second, the girl I switch myself for seems perfect for Ethan. Maybe a bit too perfect. Third, my date with my crush goes horribly wrong and my first kiss tanks. Now, I'm pretty sure I'm destined to be alone while Ethan rides off into the sunset with his perfect match. Man, I've screwed up bad—especially when I ask Ethan the secrets to a good kiss. Big mistake. Feelings start to change and I'm pretty sure that our friendship isn't going to be enough anymore. Too bad I seem to be the only one in our duo who seems to feel this way.

Cute story but not very well written

I adore the whole best friends to lovers trope but this story was far too immature for me. The way it was promoted on tik tok (where I found it) set it up as a hot but cute romance and it was really not. Story was simple and not well developed. One day girl wakes up and is all “I am going to start a matchmaking fundraiser to get the band (WHAT BAND?) to France so I can go there with my crush who doesn’t know I’m alive. Oh, now I need help kissing let’s ask my male best friend. Now I like him.” No development and no plot. Disappointing.

Loved it

Extremely predictable but loved how it wasn't as straightforward! Slightly annoyed at her ignorance but it was cute and I definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a cute, predictable romance

Very good except one thing.

I've read a few of these, and they are all good storys but every time when the main charecters confess, There always seems to be the line 'with (name), I feel complete.' I dunno. Something about that just makes me crInGe.... Apart from that, great book :)

Great read

I give this book 5 stars because it graced my attention from the first page. The author did a great job telling the story and keeping it interesting.
