Cherry Cooper isn't thrilled to be back in Sweet Water Falls, though she knows it's the right place for her right now. Her parents are aging and unwell, and she's been gone long enough. She wants to help Mama and rekindle her relationships with her siblings, which would be easier if they weren't all so blissfully happy.

She's not unhappy, and a certain cowboy at the farm next door definitely makes a smile brighten her face faster than anything or anyone else has in a long time. But Jed's already broken up with her once because of his short temper and quick tongue, and Cherry really doesn't want to play games.

Jed Forrester isn't the game-playing type of cowboy anyway. He's just trying to break down Cherry's impossibly high walls so he can get inside her heart. Or at least her head, to figure out why she's so resistant to him when they have such a great time together—and she sure doesn't seem to mind kissing him...

Can Jed use his saltiness in his favor and win over Cherry's heart? Or will she keep pushing back at him until he gives up?

Cute book

I liked how friends became something more, but with that, the need for better communication. I liked how several series interacted as well.

Fantastic Book!

I love all of Elana’s books. She’s a phenomenal author. Her characters are so real, and I feel like I know them. It was wonderful how Cherry finally got past all her struggles, and Jed supported and loved her through them. He also pushed her, and wouldn’t accept her being non committed on certain things. It was wonderful how she wrapped up the other characters as well. I can never put down her books when I start reading them. Highly recommend this book.

A fun cowboy read!

Glad to read Cherry's and Jed's story finally! Ms. Johnson writes cowboy romances the best!! I enjoyed the humor, love, and "community" of the Cooper family as they come together to help each other out. A fun read!

Cherry and Jed. The last Cooper standing!

What a great story and a great series. Cherry and Jed are so relatable. The ebbs and flows of their relationship is real life. Sorry to see this series end but oh what a series! The Cooper clan are hard working folks that need to see their faults to find love! This is well worth your time to read

Salty Cowboy

Cherry and Jed have a sweet love story. They began dating long distance when they met up at a wedding but Jed broke it off because he couldn’t do the long distance. Now her sister is having a baby and Cherry is unhappy with being so far away from her family even though she has ghosts of the past that tend to make her not want to return. While home she and Jed rekindle there relationship and become closer. What happens when Jed learns her secret? The Sweet Water Falls Farm stories make a really good series. This is the last installment and the author has included an Epilogue with each of the Cooper children as the focus. That makes this particular book even better in my opinion.
