Boys. They are bound to be the death of me. Especially one with blue eyes, perfectly Mormon cut hair, and probably the inspiration for the girl’s camp song "Hot Priest". Why the heck did he have to be the bishop’s son? Cause here’s the thing. While I’m Mormon, I don’t really belong. I mean, I want to, but I just can’t seem to keep on the straight and narrow. Seriously, look at me. I’m not even supposed to use the name Mormon anymore, but Latter-Day Saint is a mouthful. So I’m sticking to Mormon. Sorry, Prophet. The bishop knows my past. He knows my problems. There is no freaking way he’s going to let me date his son. Yet, Nate comes after me anyway. And I fall hard. But eventually….I will have to tell him about my past. And I know, he’ll run far, far away from me when I do.

Finding faith and forgiveness~

This is a story about starting over, reconnecting, friendships, love and forgiveness. Lauren's family is Mormon and were very active in the church, until her father ruins it all. So begins the story~ Lauren is in high school and coping the only way she can since she feels not welcome at church anymore. Her mom has remarried and Lauren won't speak to her dad. She spends all her free time partying with her best friend. Then her mom gets a new job out of town. They relocate and Lauren decides she's gonna be better. No one knows about her past so she starts going to church. She's trying to find that missing happiness inside (the spirit) She ends up hitting it off with some kids from church that go to her school. She and Nate become friends. She's afraid to let him know of her past because he's the Bishops son. The Bishop coaches her through her problems and counsels her, readying her for Temple. There's always a jealous one making problems but Lauren is able to overcome. Nate is about to graduate and head off on a mission. He asks her to wait for him, then he finds out about her past. Without giving away too much~ all is well in the end and life is good. This is a sweet YA story. I couldn't put it down. I'm not familiar with the Mormon religion, so it took awhile to get it all straight bec the church plays a huge role in the story. The only thing I wasn't thrilled about is in the end when Lauren forgives Jessica and they become college roommates. Lol~I can see whats coming in book 2! I know it adds the drama but no way would I have become friends and roommates with the one person who tried to make my life miserable. This can be read as a standalone, but I forsee another book concluding when Nate gets home. I would highly recommend this story. I rec this arc from the author for an honest review.

Something About Forever

Something About Forever hit me directly in the feels. I haven’t read a book in awhile that’s made me cry but this one got my tear ducts flowing. Lauren and Nate’s story is very reliable. I completely recommend this book if you haven’t read it yet!

Sweet

Realistic, sweet and so true about what life can be. We all make mistakes but they don't have to ruin our lives, at least not permanently. Well written. Love Kimberley Loth's books.

Can you really turn your life around? Find out in this sweet new adult romance.

Lauren’s life was turned upside down when her father had an affair with the bishops wife. Her mother was devastated, all her Mormon church friends dropped her, and she hasn’t talked to her father since. While her mom has been a wreck, Lauren has been drowning her sorrows in parties and alcohol. She has little memory of what she did in that state. Then, her mother and step-father tell her they’re moving to Arizona. After she gets over her anger, she realizes that this could be her chance to get back some of the good feelings she had before her father ruins everything. She vows to stop the partying and to try to find the spirit and the peace she felt there. On her first day she meets Jake (tiny charmer) and Nate, his brother who is just a year older than she is. She eventually meets the Bishop, who is Nate’s father.Over time she meets with the bishop about the issues that are bothering her. She’s also hanging out with the Mormon group in school and she and Nate are building to “something.” Can she really turn her life around? Will she and Nate fall in love? And What if her past catches up with her?Young adult usually isn’t my genre but every once in a while I like to read a book to learn more about people. I didn’t know much about the book when I started it, but I like the author’s work, so I gave it a try. I enjoyed learning more about how LDS churches work. I thought the story was well-developed with real-life issues like Social Media, divorce, and starting over in a new city. Overall, a good love story for new adults.I received a free copy of this book. My thoughts, as always, are my own.

I definitely would recomend Ms. Loth's books to everyone, but especialy young people.

I think I have read all of Ms. Kimberly's books. She has this amazing knack for getting you right into the head of the person you are reading about. She proves that you can get totaly pulled into the story without a lot of graphic sex. Something young people should probably think about.
