Nicely Christmas romance

Loved the story involving characters who were musically skilled. The friendships and evolving relationships were interesting and added flavor to the story. My only criticism is the repetition of romantic themes, but I find this is common to romance novels. A solid 4 stars. Recommend.

Great story

Loved the characters and the town. Here, two people meet on a mountain trail and find what was missing. They bond over music as they help lead the young children in the Christmas festival. Sweet ending.

Really enjoyable Christmas romance!

I really liked this book a lot! It had all the themes I enjoy. The setting was in Tennessee, music, charming characters, sweet romance, likable characters etc. It was exactly what I was looking for in a sweet uplifting Christmas romance novel.

Sweet Romance For Two Musicians Missing Their Direction In Their Careers

This is the second book in the Smoky Mountain Nights series but it can be read as a standalone book. This book focuses on Sutter's younger sister, Tyler. While Sutter is the country music star, Tyler majored in music and her business coaching young singers recently fell apart. Feeling defeated, she moves home to her Tennessee roots and help a Sutter with the town's annual Christmas Sing off competition as well as some new business ideas opening in town.Shepard is world famous from being part of two boy bands and his own music. He has been performing since he was an adolescent with his "it is never enough" mother as his manager. Feeling stressed, unhappy with the direction of his life and unable to write more songs, he left his life behind. He has spent the last two years volunteering, hiking and trying to recapture his muse.Shepard knew Sutter in his early career and returns to Tennessee to visit her after hiking the nearby National Park. There he meets Tyler, where they have a sweet but slow building romance. Their love of music and working with the school kids in the Christmas Sing Off being the focus of this story.

More, please!

The only think I didn't LOVE about this book - is that there's not another Smoky Mountain Knights book ready to read next. Not even to pre-order! Just a hint of one of the Knight sisters tending bar in Marietta, Montana - one of my very favorite settings - gives me hope that there WILL be more from the Smokys. I agree with the reviewer who wanted to hear songs from the pair - but that, too, is probably better left to the imagination. I stayed up way too late last night and stayed home from work today to finish reading it - didn't hurt that it's a yucky, rainy day outside - but I'm craving MORE!
