Every runaway bride deserves a good getaway guy…

Quinley Anders is nuts. Or so the press will say when they discover she’s hijacked a limo to escape her wedding. But with her family pressuring her so hard to marry a billionaire, she had no choice but to run. Her handsome driver was just collateral damage. Now all she can do is try to find a way out of this mess without ruining both their lives…

All Elias Blackwell wanted was to finish his shift, then escape to the mountains for a much-needed vacation. He had no interest in the fugitive bride’s drama or the business nightmare her ex-fiancé could create for his brothers. But he couldn’t just abandon her, either. Hopefully, his protective instincts won’t destroy his family’s livelihood…or his heart…

Is it possible for a getaway guy to become a forever guy? Or will the cost of a happily ever after be more than Quinley and Elias are willing to pay?

So disappointed

I had great expectations for this book after reading and loving the previous book in this series. Quincey started out as such an unusual character who you wanted to be friends with. But then came the rest of the story where she shows very little moral character and extreme self centered nests. It’s also another story where her father is an unlikeable, controlling man to the point that she calls him a “narcissist “ yet her mother cannot leave him. Similar to the previous story. I did not like Quincey’s self centered choices while the story shows everyone just loving who she is no matter who she hurts with her self involvement. I cannot recommend this book.

Elias Blackwell and Quinlan Anders

Nice idea for a story. The situation seemed to go on too long for me. I also had trouble seeing the H ever becoming attracted to the h. Parts of story were really good, though.

Sweet & heartwarming!!

This is the third book in this impressive series, and this is Ellias and Quinley story.Quiney has lived with her life being controlled by her parents, and on her wedding day she feels her future is going to be the same, so she hightails it out and gets into a limo which is already occupied. Ellias just want to finish his shift and escape to the mountains for a much needed vacation, but the sparks fly between them, and he decides to help her getaway. This is a well written story which has family, friendships, emotions, grumpy / sunshine, opposites attract, drama, angst, humor, witty banter, making decisions, strangers / friends / lovers, and love, which leads to an entertaining, sweet, and heartwarming small town romance.I look forward to reading more from this author whose work I recommend.

The Getaway Guy

📚This is considered a clean romance, but still a very good book to read!!The Getaway Guy was a Rollercoaster of a book. It immediately starts out with Quinley, the soon to be bride, making a mad dash to an empty limo and asking said limo driver to get her out of there. This Limo driver turned out to be Elias, best friends future brother in law. Elias was only planning to drop off some guests and head on a peaceful solo trip for a little bit. Quigley derailed that plan and is now tagging along.I loved the emotions in this book. There was so many ups and downs between Quinley and Elias. They both had a lot to work through, but are now working through them together.Kay Lyons did an excellent job of creating this little world of Quinley and Elias!!
