One princess, twenty princes, and one…frog? The path to true love isn’t always what you might expect.

All my life I've been waiting for my prince charming, but you can't just leave these things up to chance. There are plenty of princes in the Seelie kingdom, but I'm the princess of the Lily Court and someday I will rule. Just because a prince is handsome, or an excellent swordsman, it doesn't mean he's going to be a good co-ruler.

Obviously my fairy godmother agrees, because she gave me the christening gift of true love. If I organize a set of challenges for the potential future husbands to tackle, she's promised that I'll find my perfect match.

So that's just what I have planned, and when a talking frog offers to help me find out what the princes are really like, who am I to argue? Honestly, he's pretty good company, even if he keeps stealing pastries from the castle kitchen.

Is there truly a prince out there that will meet all the criteria on my very comprehensive list? Or will I find that true love has been waiting for me all along?

**This adorable sweet romance is a retelling of The Frog Prince and is a stand-alone novella (only eight chapters) in the Faerie Tale Romances series. If you love Fae, pastries, and sassy animal sidekicks, dive into The Lily Gate today!**

Editorial Reviews

"This was SOOO cute and the most precious little book ever!!! I just wish it was longer so I could savour this world more💕 I’m absolutely in love with Tuala & her prince!! Such an adorable, pleasant book & nothing but sweet cuteness!! I adored it!!!🪷✨" - Elle Steward

"This story is an adorable sweet treat for any day you need to make just a little less oppressive. It's short enough to finish in an hour or two, so snuggle up with a blanket and some cocoa, and by the time you emerge from this fluff the whole world will look just a little bit brighter thanks to one smart princess and her snarky green friend." - Bethany

Review:

This was a perfect quick read to fit in when I wanted another fantasy story in the middle of my list of romcoms! 😂

I loved Tuala’s relationship with her parents and the comfort she found in baking! I also really liked the compromise the parents had with Tuala about her true love competition. It was funny when some of the characters were clearly not interested & just appeasing their parents/court. 😂 I also loved how comfortable Tuala was with her frog companion and I liked that I could easily catch onto the frog’s hints that Tuala was clearly missing! 😅 (And the moat ‘monster’ was a great addition too!)

*I’ve already read The Rose Gate before this one and seen the summaries of the other books, so I loved seeing the hints of other characters with stories in the same world in the midst of this one. But none of the other books need to be read to enjoy this story!

Summary:

Tuala is the princess and heir to the Lily Court, and as such must find her perfect match to help her co-rule when the time comes. Luckily, her fairy godmother’s blessing of true love makes the future not so bleak. All Tuala has to do is set up a competition to weed out princes by their character and compatibility. And with the help of a talking frog, things look almost perfect. If only all the princes had actually decided to show their faces for the competition…
