So Good!

I really enjoyed this book. I loved the characters. Amalie made me happy, angry, frustrated, but I also understand as duh, she is a teenager. I cannot wait to read more.I received a free copy of this book, and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Victorian Vampires, yes please!

The beginning was a bit slow, took me a while to connect to the mfc. Girls with more antiquated mindsets tend to baffle me, they have a sort of learned helplessness because of when and how they were raised. But she pulled through in the end and let her BAMF self shine through. Last fifteen percent I was on the edge of my seat! I Liked the bounces back through time and the language the author used. I also really enjoyed the depart from the normal lore on the creation and purpose for vampires. I just wish there’d been more action in the first half of the book. Looking forward to the next book.

Great Read!

Stunning book. I absolutely loved the twists and plot, and while I felt the character development was a little underwhelming, I'm about to start book 2, where I'm hoping that pays off! I really love that this is a new and unique vampire system, and how fascinating the backstory is. The writing is lovely and easy to follow, making this a fantastic palate cleanser as well. I am eager to see where the story goes in 'To Shatter Bonds'!I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Loved this book. The release of secrets was slow, which you knew was reeling you in for the next book but I'm here for it. Not for smut lovers but definitely for plot lovers!!
