An Angel for Christmas was such a heartwarming Christmas story! You can jump in and enjoy it even if you haven’t read the earlier books in the series. I really enjoyed this grumpy/sunshine story!
The meet cute for Angelica and Garrett set the initial stage for these two to form not quite accurate opinions about each other. It was great to see both of them feel some attraction for the other while still under those false impressions. Then, as they got to know each other, and those wrong impressions were replaced by truly connecting and getting to know each other, the real romance between the two was able to begin!
I liked the way Angelica was able to infuse hope not only back into the saloon that Garrett ran for his father, but also into Garrett’s life and dreams. Her sweet connection with his daughter was fun to read about, as well. Angelica and Garrett might have seemed like opposites when the story started, but it was clear that they were stronger and better together.
Heads up for those that may want to know. This is a clean fiction title, with some alcohol use. Garrett runs a saloon after all and has always wanted to run a vineyard. No overindulging, simply fits with the story.
