He never forgot his first love.

In the ten years since Ben Taylor last saw Marie, no other woman has measured up. After he meets Rebecca Fisher, the physical therapist rehabilitating his knee, Ben is convinced that she is the same woman he fell in love with so many years ago. She denies it at first, but his persistence causes her to admit the truth. Right before she pushes him away.

To escape a painful negative image created by her father, Rebecca Fischer has constructed an identity completely separate from her past. Seeing Ben, her long lost love, threatens to shatter her intricate illusions. As Ben digs to uncover the truth of who she is, Rebecca must decide if she will trust any man with her wounded heart.

But even if Ben can convince her to admit the truth, how will he be able to trust her love?

Great!

A "true to life" story. Where people have a past and hurts and misunderstandings. Add some romance with it's attendant emotional churnings, plus fun and lively characters, with Godly intentions, and you have this great read.

A wow book you won't be able to put down

Wow! This book was so great. I couldn't put it down. I fell in love with Ben and Rebecca. The book is well written. In addition to that I loved the Spiritual theme to the book. Forgiveness and learning to trust again were important to the characters. This is the second book in a series. The books are stand alone but you will be glad if you read them in order. I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Sweet Romance and Wonderful Story!

This book was a sweet story to read. It held many wonderful moments and delightful banter between the characters. It also had an underlying message that could convict a reader without being pushy. The thought of giving to a food bank and helping make a difference in other people's lives spoke to me.I loved the title and how it all factored into the story. To be “A Pinch of Promise” to those around us is so very needed. I also LOVED the image of the saltshakers. How wonderful of a lesson that God wants Christians to make a difference, to be salt to the world. This spoke deeply to me.Thank You, Elizabeth Maddrey, for writing this book. Even though it was a sweet, delightful book to read it still touched my heart in many ways. The way Elizabeth Maddrey weaves this story together is so tender and delightful. I was captured by the main characters and also by all of the friends who I’m sure we’ll see later. If you enjoy romance and fun books then you’ll like this story.I highly recommend you pick it up.
