This is a story about a woman who liked to travel to wash away her loneliness after looking her mother years before to breast cancer. Her brothers and father have all settled down but she is still trying to find her place. She is strong willed and spunky. She meets a cowboy who has her back in a small altercation and this brings about some changes for both of these wounded individuals to find what was missing. Good read.

McKenna and Wyatt’s story is complete in this volume. The other stories in this series are about McKenna’s brothers but you don’t have to have read them for this story to make sense. Set in Marietta some of the places that are locations in the story you will recognize. This is one of the sweet books set in Marietta

I am so excited to see McKenna have finally gotten her own book and we got to see her story. Know I never ever tell a storyline away in my review SO you will know know the meat of the book in my review. Sorry..not sorry. I want you to read and fall in love with Mckenna and Wyatt just like I did as soon as I turned the pages of this book. If you are not familiar with this town or the series, no problem...you will be able to read and enjoy this book right fine by itself. NOW, if you want to fall in love with a wonderful fictional town that will steal you heart and have you wanting to read all books based in this town...read a few books based in Marietta, Montana. McKenna is the only girl of a family of boys, yes so that tells you something right... NOPE throw that out the window. She is her own person and it shows all the way thru this book. Wyatt Emerson is the other character you get to know in Finding her Montana Cowboy. He was a rodeo cowboy until the rodeo life left him with a limp at the time life left him with a sprite at his door. When McKenna and the Duo of Wyatt and little Kaiti start spending time together, this book just flies for me and for McKenna as well. Life changes... WOW will it be enough for a gal whose feet need to move as much as she does? Lara Van Hulzen has once again given us a well written book that has me wanting to pack my bags and head to Montana to ride the horses and visit Marietta. Come visit for a while, You will be so happy you did.

This is a nice, easy read with likeable characters (including cute kids!), a community you'd like to visit, and a fulfilling ending to a good series. Although each book in the series is about a member of a prominent family, they are standalone books and can be read out of order. I've read and enjoyed them all.

Good story

But, it was kind of dragged out and you just knew how it was going to end, happily ever after. I did like all the characters of which there were many. Most of them were related one way or another. Got to love big families and Montana. The 6 year old, Kaiti, was sweet and adorable. All in all a good story even though I didn't read the first books of this series.
