He needs to save his farm. She needs a client who respects her mind, not just her pretty face. With everything on the line, Carter Quinn will do whatever is necessary to take Quinn Organics to the next level. That includes risking his hard-earned savings to gamble on a business consultant. But Carter gets more than he bargained for when Avery Scott arrives, and keeping things strictly professional suddenly becomes his biggest challenge.

Avery loves helping her consulting clients succeed, but she’s been hurt too many times by people who treat her as nothing more than a pretty face. To protect her heart, she keeps her guard securely up. However, Carter's genuine kindness and relentless work ethic slowly start to break down her walls. The romantic conflict is clear: Avery is falling for her client, but Carter has made it perfectly obvious he has absolutely no time for romance.

As they work side-by-side to save the farm, neither can deny their growing feelings. The stakes are high for both their business and their hearts. Are they willing to let go of their past dreams to build a new one together, or will their strict professional boundaries keep them apart?

Carter's Cowgirl

Love can come out of any circumstance, even being hired to do a job. After years of not allowing anyone to get close to her, Avery finds love when she comes to work for Carter for a couple of weeks. It was fun to see how hard they tried not to get involved. I would recommend this book to others.

Carter's Cowgirl

Your storytelling and characters brought together a relationship that truly needed each other. Their attributes made them whole with their own special caring. The heartbreak that Avery had endured was horrid, yet she could still let her heart be opened by Carter's love. Exceptional circumstances and storyline, really enjoyed. Keep them coming, great series!

Farms, Horses, and Love

This story has two main characters, Carter and Avery, although you meet many of the Quinn family which is close knit. Carter needs help with his organic farm and calls Avery as his consultant. The more time the two spend together, there is no denying the attraction they have for one another. Past circumstances keep Avery pushing away and finally leaving because of past experiences with men. When we convince ourselves of "The way it is going to be" life can become confused and hearbreaking. The best thing to do is go with our heart and trust other people. Carter is a perfect gentleman and pursues what his relatives and his heart tell him. He just hopes Avery feels the same way he does. If you love the country, farms, horses, snow, and sweet romance, I recommend that you read Carter's Cowgirl. I received a complimentary copy of this book and have chosen on my own to write an honest review.
