Wonderful, realistic romance between older people

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book, given to me by Tule Publishing via BookFunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.“The Billionaire Cowgirl’s Christmas”, by Kris Bock, is a wonderful, realistic romance between older people, with two well written protagonists and a solid cast of supporting characters.Ava and North are great characters: mature, down-to-earth individuals, with strengths, fears and flaws; but, above all, they feel like real, complex people, who still enjoy and need closeness, intimacy, romance and sex.I particularly loved Ava’s characterization, with a loving, caring nature, and dealing with the aftermath and impact of the recent fortune on social life.The way she faces the possibility of romance and sex is also very true to life for a woman her age and I appreciated the author’s take on it.The drama, insecurities and even awkwardness richness brings to interpersonal relationships and social life in general is really well written throughout the story.The “cute geologist” is an excellent hero, too. It was fun watching him systematically put his foot in his mouth when he met Ava. But he owned up to his mistakes and apologized.I also liked that there was more to North than we expected and that his character hided some surprising features.The protectiveness towards Ava is endearing, all the more so because it surprises even himself.I loved the sense of humor, the honesty between the characters, how the tentative romance evolves, and meeting again Ava’s family and friends.

For Richer or Else

This is Ava’s story, the ranching mom who bought the winning lottery ticket that the series The Accidental Billionaire Cowboy’s is based on, this is book 5 of the series and I loved getting to hear how the win affected her.
This book has an easy to follow plot line, but there is one tiny scary part, and likable characters and also a smooth villain who is easy to hate.
I enjoyed it, hope you will to.

The Billionaire Cowgirl’s Christmas is book 5 in the Accidental Billionaire Cowboys series by Kris Bock, a new to me author. I will certainly go back and read the other books in this series! 4.5 stars

Up last is Ava, the matriarch and North the geologist tasked with surveying the ranch. Ava had the winning ticket and became a billionaire who now wonders if any man will see her for the mature older widowed woman she is and not because she has money. Can these two navigate a later in life romance, get a second chance at love and a HEA? Read on to see how it all ends…

Love this family

I have really enjoyed this series its been so fun reading about this family and I was so excited to read this one. I have loved Ava in every book she has the biggest heart and the kindest of spirits. She shine even more in this book but the also was a lot more vulnerable in this story. I really liked North and even though he was new to the family he did not mince words. He was a mystery for sure throughout but you could see he too had a big heart and wanted what was best for Ava and this family. I loved catching up with the boys and their women. I will say there was a comment made in the book that had nothing to do with anything if felt off and felt like the author was trying to make a political statement in a sense and it just felt like it didn't belong. Overall though I really did enjoy this book and it was a clean read and well worth the read if you haven't started reading this series I would recommend it so fun.

The storyline was strong easy to follow and very believable.
I can not add words to this review without spoiling it for future readers, so please purchase a copy and you too could fall in love with this wonderful Christmas romance, I highly recommend this to all.
